Prevention & Follow-Up

Transfer all dried herbs and spices into sealed glass or metal jars after purchase. Seal high-value herbs and store them in the refrigerator or freezer for long-term pest protection. Check your herbs and spices regularly — if you see signs of beetle damage, isolate and throw away the affected items right away. Clean crumbs and dust out of herb cabinets and storage shelves regularly. Place food-grade desiccant packs in herb cabinets to keep the environment dry.
